The OTA learning methodology, as the basis of the OTA activities, revolves around two core principles: Three Stage Model and STEAM approach. This methodology focuses on the importance of science in society, promoting art as a tool when teaching science and natural subjects and encouraging a learner-centre approach and hands-on activities. 

The OTA learning methodology aims to provide a positive learning experience for pupils, increase their intrinsic interest in science and establish their understanding that science is part of real life.
